Krelowynn, the World of Planes is a fantasy universe and gaming setting designed by Mike Vallejo and published via Swamp Dragon Studios.
The world of Krelowynn is an ever evolving universe of magic & technology, as creatures of myth and fantasy live beside mankind, in hopes we do not repeat the folly of our own demise as we have eons in the past!
As a universe of its own, Krelowynn has been developing since 1995! With countries and economies having developed their depth over countless campaigns, the realm can truly claim to be "lived in". Complex political problems between nations may keep the heavy thinkers occupied, while those who want simple dice rolling action will find no shortage of that either!

Chronicals of Krelowynn
An RPG Maker Experience Playable Right Here!

My goals with this experience were the most multi-faceted of any project in my catalog! It was finally my chance to merge my story-telling approach to songcraft with my love for fantasy art, stories, and philosophy.
I chose RPG Maker MV to give me the bones. I am no programmer but I've played tabletop games for decades, so I worked hard to create an advanced equipment list and battle options to utilize it, custom music and monster art in every part, and the long-worked maps of Krelowynn translated into the nostalgia of classic adventure RPGs I grew up with.
This format allows users to explore the lore and vibe of Krelowynn, with plenty of hidden bonuses along the way. I'm totally a noob at programming, and I don't try to hide that, but I still hope I've provided some good art, music, stories, and a few fun puzzles to show you. I know without a doubt you will love the cast of characters, many of whom were originally dreamed up by my own gaming buddies over the decades. As I get better at implementing the assets into game engines, you'll see I have animations for these characters and more, but am limited by my coding at the time. Meanwhile, I use that as a nifty extra reason to embrace the 16-bit charm of it as a staple, as even the soundtrack shifts from orchestration to chip tunes while you immerse yourself.

Over the years, Krelowynn has taken on many formats, as game systems I used with my stories changed or released updates my player groups were interested in. In that time, I developed a ton of notes for multiple formats to make my home-brew universe still coincide with the module of the hour.
Discord will offer a unique look at the Tabletop roots of the universe, and homebrew content you can port into a variety of game systems to bring a little of the World of Planes through a portal near you! These systems include material for 3Ed 3.5, 5E, and a beginning into PF2. I hope to present the concepts as they apply at my table, with hints on how I transpose between systems, but ultimately leave it in the players hands as a system-agnostic engine. Between this and the Chronicals installments, I truly believe I can take your imagination through the portal and into the World of Planes too.
